Daag is a 1973 Indian drama film directed by Yash Chopra and starring Rajesh Khanna, Sharmila Tagore, and Raakhee. It follows the story of Deepak (Khanna), an ex-army officer who falls in love with Vandana (Tagore). However, Vandana's father objects to their relationship because Deepak is already married to the alcoholic Sharda (Raakhee). Deepak must choose between his two wives while trying to find a way to make them both happy. He eventually comes up with a solution that allows him to keep them both but requires Vandana to stay with her father and Deepak to take care of Sharda. In the end, Deepak and Vandana are reunited and Sharda has found a newfound peace. Daag is an emotional story about the importance of loyalty and family.
