Cyrano de Bergerac - Full Movie in HD

Story

In the heart of 17th century Paris, a charismatic swordsman and poet named Cyrano de Bergerac (played by the swashbuckling José Ferrer) captivates all with his wit and courage.

Unfortunately, his charm is overshadowed by a physical flaw – an extraordinarily large nose and as a result Cyrano is unable to declare his love for Roxane (Mala Powers) thinking he will be rejected. Instead, Cyrano finds solace in expressing his deep affection for Roxane through eloquent poems and letters, all anonymously attributed to Christian de Neuvillette (William Prince), a handsome but tongue-tied new cadet in the French army.

Roxane falls for the poetic words, mistaking Christian for the author. Cyrano, heartbroken but selfless, secretly tutors Christian in the art of wooing, crafting the passionate sentiments that win Roxane's heart. A love triangle unfolds. Roxane is drawn to Christian's outward appearance but captivated by the depth of his supposed words.

Christian, lacking the eloquence Cyrano provides, struggles to express his true feelings. Meanwhile, Cyrano yearns for Roxane but resigns himself to playing the role of secret wordsmith. The men become comrades as they join the French army, fighting in the Thirty Years' War. Throughout the conflict, Cyrano continues to anonymously pen love letters to Roxane, further deepening her connection to Christian. But Christian ends up dying during a dangerous mission. On his deathbed, he reveals the truth to Roxane: the beautiful words that stole her heart belonged to Cyrano.

Grief-stricken, Roxane realizes the depth of Cyrano's love and sacrifice. However, it's too late for them to express their true feelings. Cyrano, heartbroken and alone, eventually succumbs to a battle wound. Roxane, forever touched by Cyrano's hidden love, enters a convent, cherishing his memory.
