Criminal 1994

Criminal is a 1995 film about a man named John, who has been living in an orphanage since he was 8 years old. After his adoptive parents die, he moves to Los Angeles and takes a job as a bodyguard for a wealthy businessman. When the businessman is killed by a rival mobster, John goes after the killer and ends up in jail. John soon finds himself entangled in a criminal underworld where loyalty and honor are held above all else. He learns the ropes from a prison inmate and eventually earns the respect of the other inmates. With the help of an ex-FBI agent, John begins to unravel the criminal conspiracy that led to the death of his employer and sets out to get revenge. In the process, John discovers a newfound sense of purpose and values. He also learns the importance of friendship and loyalty. In the end, John defeats the bad guys and finds redemption.
