Contract 2008

Contract is a 2008 thriller film about an assassin, David, who is hired to kill a politician. He performs the job flawlessly, but his life turns upside down when the police suspect him of murdering the man he was originally hired to take out. As the police close in on David, he is forced to go on the run and try to prove his innocence. Along the way, he meets a young woman, Maya, and they form an unlikely bond that helps them both find redemption. In the end, David is able to clear his name, but at great personal cost. The film shows the lengths someone will go to in order to protect their own freedom and the power of friendship in overcoming even the most dire of circumstances.
