Story

Chingari is a 1940 Hindi-language film directed by R.S. Choudhary and starring Master Bhagwan, Leela Mishra and Yakub. The film tells the story of two brothers, Madho and Jai, who are both in love with the same woman, Roopa. Madho helps Jai and Roopa elope and they marry, but Jai's father disapproves and disowns him. Madho then takes it upon himself to help Jai and his new family. He arranges a job for Jai and sets up a small shop, where Jai can earn an income. Despite all of Madho's efforts, however, Jai and Roopa struggle to make ends meet. When Roopa gets pregnant, Jai is forced to take on a dangerous job that puts his life at risk. In the end, Madho is able to help Jai reunite with his family and the couple is able to start a new life with their child. The film explores the themes of loyalty, commitment and self-sacrifice and how these values can help us overcome our struggles.
