Story

Children of War is a 2014 Indian drama film based on true events during Bangladesh’s war of independence in 1971. It follows the story of Fulan, a young Bengali girl who witnesses her village being destroyed and her family slaughtered by Pakistani soldiers. She survives and is rescued by a group of freedom fighters, who take her in. Fulan grows up alongside them, learning their ways and fighting alongside them for the cause. During her journey, she meets Rahul, a student activist who is determined to fight for his people and reunites with her long-lost brother. The two join forces and become part of the revolution, despite facing difficulties along the way. Ultimately, they are successful in winning the freedom of their homeland. The movie serves as a reminder of the atrocities committed during the war, and of the courage of those who fought for justice and freedom.
