Story

Chhoti Si Baat is a 1975 Indian comedy film directed by Basu Chatterjee. It stars Amol Palekar, Asrani, Vidya Sinha and Aruna Irani. The film tells the story of an introverted young man, Prabhakar, who is hopelessly in love with a woman, Nirmala. After several failed attempts to win her over, he seeks help from a local street-smart Casanova, Arun, who helps him become more assertive and confident. In the end, Prabhakar succeeds in winning Nirmala's heart. The film is about how shyness can be overcome by learning to express oneself confidently and effectively.
