Chashme Buddoor is a 1981 Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Sai Paranjpye. The story follows three close friends, Omi (Rakesh Bedi), Jai (Ravi Baswani) and Siddharth (Farooq Shaikh) who live in Delhi and are always up to mischief. They find their lives turned upside down when Neha (Deepti Naval) moves into the neighbourhood, which leads to an intense love triangle between the four of them. The trio initially try to outdo each other in trying to win Neha's affections. However, they eventually decide to help her fight against her oppressive brother-in-law, Kaamna (Saeed Jaffrey). In the end, Neha chooses Siddharth and the trio part on good terms. Despite the obstacles along the way, Chashme Buddoor is a lighthearted and funny take on the complications of love and friendship.
