Chand is a family drama that revolves around the life of an Indian man named Chand. He lives in a small village with his wife, son and daughter-in-law. He is a hardworking farmer who loves and cares for his family despite his humble beginnings. His son is an ambitious young man who dreams of leaving the village to pursue his dreams. However, due to financial constraints he is unable to do so. When Chand's daughter-in-law gets pregnant, this provides him with the opportunity to fulfill his son's dreams by selling their land to pay for his son's education. In the end, Chand makes the ultimate sacrifice by selling his land to ensure his son's future. Despite his own sacrifice, Chand derives joy from seeing his son fulfill his dreams. Ultimately, it is a story about a father's love and dedication to his family.
