Once a rising tennis star, Tashi's dreams were cut short by injury. Now, she coaches her husband, Art, the champion she molded from a hopeful player. But Art's winning streak has vanished, leaving him frustrated and his confidence in tatters.

Seeking a spark, Tashi hatches a daring plan. She coaxes Art to compete in a Challenger tournament, a proving ground for aspiring players. It's a risky move, a step down for a former champion. But the competition throws them a curveball – across the net stands Patrick.

Patrick is more than just another competitor. He's Art's estranged best friend and, more importantly, Tashi's ex-boyfriend. The reunion is loaded with past hurts and unspoken emotions. As Art struggles to regain his form, Tashi finds herself drawn back into Patrick's orbit.
