Chala Murari Hero Banne is a 1981 comedy drama about the story of an ordinary man who becomes extraordinary in his quest to save his village from the clutches of a tyrant. Raju, a small-time farmer living in a rural village, is forced to take up the mantle of heroism after his family and friends are threatened by a powerful local thug. With courage, determination and some luck, Raju embarks on a mission to free his village from oppression and restore justice. Along the way, he must rely on his wits and the help of his family and friends to succeed in his noble endeavor. In the end, Raju's heroic actions are rewarded when the villagers are freed from the oppressive rule and their lives are returned to normal. Through his selfless act of courage, Raju has become a true hero.
