Chaani 1977

Chaani is a movie about an impoverished village in India. The main character, Chaani, a young girl, is the daughter of a poor farmer and her mother has recently passed away. Despite their poverty, Chaani's father tries to protect his daughter from the hard life of farming and encourages her to pursue her dreams. One day, while Chaani is walking to school, she meets a mysterious stranger who gives her a magical seed, telling her that if she plants it, something wonderful will happen. Chaani does as instructed and, with the help of her family and friends, manages to create a beautiful garden full of exotic flowers. Through this act of kindness, Chaani brings joy to her community and helps her father get out of debt. In the end, Chaani learns the power of kindness and discovers the true potential of her dreams.
