Story

Boot Polish is a 1954 Hindi film about two orphaned siblings, Belu and Bhola, living in poverty in India. The two are taken in by their aunt and uncle, but they are mistreated and given minimal care. After being scolded for playing with shoes, the two decide to start polishing shoes to make money. Despite their struggles, they remain determined to make something of themselves. With the money they earn, they buy a pair of boots which they polish and sell at a market. Soon, their hard work pays off and they become successful entrepreneurs. They even open a shoe-polishing shop in their village. In the end, their perseverance and determination leads them to a better life. Despite the odds, the two orphans prove that with dedication and hard work, dreams can come true.
