Story

Biwi No.1 is a 1999 Indian romantic comedy film starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Tabu. The story follows Prem (Khan) who is married to Pooja (Kapoor). His boss Jai (Kapoor), falls in love with Pooja and attempts to lure her into an affair by offering her gifts and money. In order to protect his marriage, Prem also starts lavishing attention on Pooja. Meanwhile, Pooja's college friend, Mallika (Tabu), starts courting Prem, which makes him realise how much he loves his wife. After a series of misunderstandings and arguments, the couple reunite and resolve their differences. In the end, Pooja chooses to remain faithful to Prem and Jai is left heartbroken. The film showcases the importance of loyalty and commitment in a marriage and how love can sometimes be sacrificed for the greater good.
