Bioscopewala 2017

Bioscopewala is a 2018 Indian drama film based on Rabindranath Tagore's Kabuliwala. It follows the story of a young girl, Mini, who is reunited with her childhood Bioscope-man, Danny Denzongpa, after he returns to India after 25 years away. Mini bonds with Danny and discovers that he is in fact a refugee from Afghanistan. He tells her stories of his homeland and of his beloved daughter who he left behind. When Mini's father finds out about this he forbids her from seeing Danny anymore. However, when Mini discovers that Danny has been arrested she takes it upon herself to reunite him with his daughter. Despite all odds, Mini manages to bring Danny's daughter to India and reunite them in a heartwarming moment. In the end, Mini learns a valuable lesson about family, friendship, and courage.
