Bhoothnath is a 2008 Indian comedy-drama film about the unlikely friendship between an elderly ghost and a young boy. Banku, a young boy, moves into a new neighbourhood with his parents. One day he discovers that the house next door is inhabited by a friendly ghost named Bhoothnath. Initially scared of the ghost, Banku soon makes friends with him. Banku then proposes a plan to help Bhoothnath reclaim his lost honour. The two join forces to fight corruption in their locality and restore the spirit of the community.
