Bheja Fry is a 2007 Indian comedy film about a tax inspector, Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak), who wins a game show and invites the winner, a free-spirited merchant named Ranjeet Thadani (Rajat Kapoor), to his home for dinner. On arrival, Ranjeet turns out to be a nuisance with his weird antics and unsolicited advice. Despite Bharat's wife's efforts to keep him in check, Ranjeet's presence soon becomes unbearable. To make matters worse, Bharat finds out that Ranjeet has been cheating on the game show. Things take a turn for the better when Bharat discovers Ranjeet's hidden talent of singing. With the help of Bharat's neighbor, they manage to get Ranjeet an audition with a music director. In the end, Ranjeet gets his big break and Bharat is reunited with his wife.
