Bheed 2023

The film's protagonist is Surya Kumar Singh Tikas (Rajkummar Rao), a young police officer who is put in charge of the border checkpoint. Surya is a kind and compassionate man, but he is also under immense pressure to enforce the lockdown rules and regulations.

Among the migrant workers who are stranded at the checkpoint is Renu Sharma (Bhumi Pednekar), a doctor who is trying to reach her patients. Renu is also trying to help a pregnant woman who is in labor.

As the lockdown drags on, the situation at the border checkpoint becomes increasingly desperate. The migrant workers are running out of food and water, and they are becoming increasingly frustrated with the authorities.

Surya and Renu try their best to help the migrant workers, but they are ultimately powerless to change the system. The film ends with the migrant workers being forced to walk back to their villages, hundreds of kilometers away.
