Bewafaa 2005

The movie Bewafaa (2005) tells the story of Anjali (Kareena Kapoor), a young woman from India who is engaged to Aditya (Akshay Kumar). On the day of their engagement, Anjali's family discovers that her long-lost twin sister, Pooja (also Kareena Kapoor), has returned from Canada. Anjali is thrilled with the reunion, however, Pooja reveals that she is married to Raj (Manoj Bajpayee), an Indian living in Canada. Despite the objections of Anjali's family, she and Aditya decide to invite Pooja and Raj to the wedding. During the course of the wedding, Anjali and Aditya's relationship begins to unravel as Aditya falls for Pooja. In the end, Anjali must decide between her love for Aditya and the bond she shares with her beloved sister. In the end, Anjali chooses to honor her sister's marriage and sacrifices her own happiness. Despite the tragic ending, Bewafaa is ultimately a story of love and loyalty.
