Beti No. 1 2000

Beti No.1 is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by David Dhawan. It stars Govinda in a double role as a father and son, along with Rambha, Anupam Kher, and Mohnish Behl. The story follows Vinod Khanna, a rich industrialist, who is unhappy with his children and wants to have a child of his own. He then meets a young woman, Maithili, who is pregnant and agrees to marry her so he can become a father. However, complications arise when it turns out that she already has a son of her own, Raja, who is being raised by her parents. Vinod reluctantly agrees to take them both in and treat them like his own children. However, his real children still remain distant and unsupportive. Through various misunderstandings and confusions, Vinod and Maithili's family eventually come together and accept each other, creating a happy ending for all.
