Beta 1992

Beta is a 1992 Indian romantic drama film. It stars Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles. The movie tells the story of Raju (Anil Kapoor), a young man from a small village who moves to the big city of Bombay to make his fortune. He meets a wealthy family, the Saxenas, and falls in love with their daughter, Saraswati (Madhuri Dixit). Despite a class difference between the two, they soon become involved in a passionate romance. Raju's world is suddenly turned upside down when Saraswati's father arranges for her to marry another man. With no other options, Raju agrees to be Saraswati's servant in order to stay close to her. Despite the struggles, Raju and Saraswati's love for one another eventually triumphs over all obstacles. In the end, they are reunited and live happily ever after.
