Barood 1976

Barood is a 1976 Bollywood action thriller film directed by Pramod Chakravorty. It stars Dharmendra, Rekha, and Amjad Khan in lead roles. The story revolves around Dr. Rajesh (Dharmendra), a medical student who falls in love with Radha (Rekha). He is forced to leave his studies when his father passes away and he takes up the responsibility of providing for his family. Rajesh and his brother-in-law get involved in a fight against a ruthless gangster named Chhote Thakur (Amjad Khan). Chhote Thakur wants to ruin Rajesh's life, as he believes that Rajesh has stolen from him. To protect himself and his family, Rajesh joins forces with a police officer who is determined to end the tyranny of Chhote Thakur. However, things are not that easy as the criminals have powerful political connections and Rajesh gets framed in a false case. In the end, Rajesh manages to save his family and wins back the respect of his love.
