Balika Badhu is a 1976 romantic drama movie directed by Tarun Majumdar, starring Sachin and Rajni Sharma. The film tells the story of a young girl, Kajri, who is literally betrothed to an older man, Ashok, while still a child as part of a traditional Indian custom. As she grows up, Kajri (Rajni Sharma) and Ashok (Sachin) develop a strong bond, and although they both know that their relationship will eventually become formalized through marriage, they decide to enjoy life together as much as possible before it happens. When her wedding day finally comes, Kajri must make a difficult decision between following tradition and embracing the love of her life. The film follows Kajri's journey from childhood to adulthood as she navigates between the expectations of society and her own desires. While her family pressures her to accept the arranged marriage, she ultimately chooses to follow her heart and marry Ashok. In the end, Balika Badhu is an uplifting story of love and courage in the face...
