Badshah is a 1954 Bollywood film about the struggles of a poor man, Raja, who has to make a living as a street performer. Despite his poverty, Raja has a heart of gold and helps those in need whenever he can. One day, he meets a beautiful young woman, Kishori, and soon falls in love with her. However, she is married to a powerful zamindar (landlord) named Thakur Singh. Raja and Kishori try to overcome the obstacles posed by Thakur Singh, but their attempts are thwarted. Eventually, Raja is forced to go into hiding and becomes known as "The Badshah". With help from a few loyal friends, Raja sets out to save Kishori and reclaim his lost honour. In the end, Raja's courage and good heart prevail, and he is reunited with Kishori.
