Story

Badla is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language mystery thriller film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The story revolves around Naina (Pannu), a successful businesswoman who finds herself in an unfortunate situation when she wakes up one day to find that her lover, Arjun (Manav Kaul), has been murdered. She meets Badal Gupta (Bachchan), a shrewd lawyer, and tells him her story. Through a series of interviews and flashbacks, they discover the truth behind the murder and the strange events leading up to it. In the end, justice is served and Naina is able to move on with her life. The film explores themes of guilt, betrayal, and redemption, while examining the powerful bond between two unlikely strangers.
