Awwal Number 1990

Awwal Number is a 1990 Bollywood sports drama starring Aamir Khan and Dev Anand. The movie follows the story of two brothers, Vicky (Khan) and Ajay (Anand), who are passionate about cricket. When Vicky is selected to play for the Indian national team, Ajay is devastated as he had been hoping to be chosen as well. In order to help his brother succeed, Ajay takes up coaching and helps Vicky become a better cricketer. Meanwhile, the two have to deal with their father, who disapproves of their involvement in the game and wants them to focus on their studies. Despite their differences, they manage to overcome adversity and emerge triumphant in the end. In the end, Vicky not only succeeds in becoming an excellent player but Ajay’s perseverance and dedication also earn him respect from his father and the entire cricket fraternity.
