Ashanti 1982

Ashanti is a 1982 American action-adventure film directed by Richard Fleischer and starring Michael Caine, Peter Ustinov, Kabir Bedi and Beverly Johnson. The movie follows an English doctor who travels to Africa to search for his daughter after she is kidnapped by slave traders. With the help of an African warrior, they cross the Sahara Desert and eventually reach the Ashanti village of Kumasi, which is ruled by a cruel and powerful chief. After rescuing his daughter, the doctor learns of a plot by the chief to attack a nearby peaceful village and takes it upon himself to warn them. He then rallies the villagers to prepare for battle and eventually defeats the chief's warriors. In the end, the doctor and his daughter are reunited and the people of Kumasi are freed from the chief's tyranny.
