Aparadhi is a 1949 Indian drama film directed by C. Pullaiah. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, G. Varalakshmi, and P. Bhanumathi in the lead roles. The story revolves around a young man, Raju, who is falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. He escapes from jail and takes refuge with an old man in a village. He falls in love with the old man’s daughter but gets arrested again due to a misunderstanding. He is sentenced to hard labour. With the help of his girlfriend, he is released and reunited with his family. In the end, he is proved innocent and his life returns to normal. Aparadhi shows how false accusations can ruin one's life and how faith and determination can help overcome any situation.
