Story

Apaharan is a Hindi language action drama film directed by Prakash Jha. It stars Ajay Devgn, Nana Patekar, Bipasha Basu and Boman Irani. The story follows the life of a police officer, Yashvardhan Raichand (Ajay Devgn), who is trying to bring down a gruesome criminal named Shamsher Singh (Nana Patekar). Yashvardhan is aided by his trusted friend, Gyaneshwar Pandey (Boman Irani). Together they face numerous obstacles in their mission, including threats from Shamsher's powerful political contacts. They also have to deal with Shamsher's daughter, Megha (Bipasha Basu), who has a complicated relationship with Yashvardhan. The story culminates in a show-down between Yashvardhan and Shamsher in which both men are forced to confront each other's darker sides. In the end, Yashvardhan succeeds in apprehending Shamsher and bringing him to justice. Apaharan is a thrilling tale of good versus evil, with a strong moral message.
