Story

Andhadhun is a 2018 Indian black comedy thriller film about a blind pianist Akash, who unwittingly becomes embroiled in the murder of a former movie star. After stumbling upon the body of Pramod Sinha, a popular actor, Akash finds himself being pursued by both the police and the murderer. In order to stay alive, he must use his acute powers of observation and deduction to outwit them. With the help of Sophie, a bar singer, and Dr. Mundhra, a local optometrist, Akash manages to evade capture and uncover the truth behind the murder. Ultimately, it is revealed that Pramod was killed by his own son, Rishi, in an attempt to gain access to his father's wealth and fame. The movie ends with Akash and Sophie safely escaping, while the killer is arrested. In the end, justice is served, but Akash is left with a newfound appreciation for life and his own powers of perception.
