Ajanabee 1974

Ajanabee tells the story of Arun and Anju, two young lovers in India. Arun comes from a wealthy family while Anju is an orphan. The couple meets and falls in love, but their relationship is challenged when Anju's foster father, Jagdish, disapproves of their union. Arun's family also opposes their relationship, and the couple is forced to elope. They move to Switzerland and get married there, but soon find themselves struggling to make ends meet. To make matters worse, they are pursued by Jagdish, who eventually finds them and kidnaps Anju. In the end, Arun rescues Anju and reunites with his family, proving that love can conquer all obstacles.
