Story

Elaan is a 1994 Indian action drama film directed by Vikram Bhatt. The story follows DSP Arjun Verma (Akshay Kumar), who is tasked with escorting the infamous criminal, Lallan Singh (Amrish Puri). He is also assigned to capture notorious gang leader Bahadur (Johny Lever). Along the way, he meets a beautiful princess named Elaan (Amrita Singh) who helps him in his pursuit of justice. When the two get close, Arjun falls for her and eventually finds himself having to choose between his duty and his heart. Ultimately, Arjun manages to apprehend the criminals and Elaan chooses to marry a man chosen by her family. In the end, Arjun realises that when it comes to love, it can't be forced and walks away.
