Abhinetri is a 1970 Indian film about a young woman called Mohini. She is the daughter of an affluent family in South India. Her father, a rich businessman, is very protective of her and doesn't approve of her marrying the man she loves. When Mohini's father discovers that her true love is a dancer, he decides to marry her off to a much older man. Despite her unhappiness, Mohini reluctantly agrees to the marriage. However, on the day of the wedding, her true love appears and the two run away together. Her father then hires thugs to bring her back. In desperation, Mohini prays to goddess Kali for help. Miraculously, the goddess appears and saves her from her pursuers. In the end, Mohini is reunited with her beloved and they live happily ever after. Abhinetri is a classic Bollywood romantic tale that celebrates the power of true love.
