Ab Ke Baras 2002

Ab Ke Baras is a 2002 Bollywood romantic drama film directed by Anant Mahadevan and starring Arya Babbar, Aryan Vaid, Amrita Rao in the lead roles. The story follows the journey of a young village girl, Kashi, who is promised to a much older man by her father. Upon discovering this, Kashi runs away from home to avoid her impending marriage and finds solace in the city with her friend, Ganga. In the city, she meets Aryan, a youth activist, who falls in love with her. Despite the strong connection between them, Kashi is determined to remain independent and refuses to accept his proposal of marriage. She eventually returns home to fulfill her duty of marrying the man her father chose for her. However, when she arrives, she finds out that the man had died and she is free to marry Aryan. Thus, Kashi and Aryan reunite and begin their new life together. Ab Ke Baras demonstrates how love can triumph all odds and that one should never give up hope even in the most difficult of times.
