Ab Dilli Dur Nahin is a 1957 Hindi movie that follows the story of a young man from Delhi who goes to Lucknow in search of a job. While there, he meets and falls in love with a local girl. However, their families are opposed to their relationship due to the different social classes they come from. Despite this, they continue to pursue their love until the girl's family arranges her marriage to someone else. The young man decides to go back to Delhi, but is stopped by a kind-hearted old man who tells him to stay and fight for his love. He eventually wins the approval of both families and the couple get married. The movie portrays the struggles of young lovers against societal barriers and provides an inspiring message about never giving up on love.
