Aar Paar is a 1954 Hindi romantic crime drama film, directed by Guru Dutt. The story revolves around two young lovers, Kishen and Rita, who are from different social classes. Kishen is from a wealthy family and Rita is from a poor family. They fall in love and plan to get married, but Kishen's father disapproves of the match because of their class differences. When Rita's brother finds out about their relationship, he threatens Kishen and the two decide to run away together. Kishen and Rita set off on a journey to find a place where they can be together without any interference from their families. On their way, they encounter various obstacles, including a gang of criminals and Rita's brother, who is still determined to stop them from getting married.
