The 2023 Hindi comedy film Aank Micholi, directed by Umesh Shukla, follows the story of a family of misfits who are trying to hide their secrets from an NRI suitor and his family. The family wants their daughter to get married to the well-to-do NRI guy, but they are worried that he will not accept them if he finds out about their secrets.

So what are the dark secrets? The father is a failed actor who has been unemployed for years. The mother is a gambling addict. The son is a dropout who is addicted to video games. The daughter is in love with a man from a lower social class.

The NRI suitor and his family arrive for a visit, and the family goes to great lengths to hide their secrets. This leads to a series of comical twists and turns, as the family tries to keep up their charade.
