Aaj Ka Mahaatma 1976

Aaj Ka Mahaatma is a Bollywood drama film released in 1995. It stars Mithun Chakraborty as Mahaatma, an orphaned street kid who is taken in by a gangster and educated in the ways of crime. With his newfound knowledge, Mahaatma soon rises to the top of the criminal underworld. However, when he meets a social worker named Padma (Raveena Tandon), his outlook on life begins to change. He eventually decides to use his influence to help the poor and needy, bringing about a positive transformation in the slums of Mumbai. With the help of Padma, he works to end poverty, injustice, and corruption in the city. In the end, Mahaatma succeeds in his mission and earns the title of "Mahaatma", or great soul.
