Aaj Ka Daur 1985

Aaj Ka Daur is a 1985 Indian action drama film directed by Prakash Mehra. The story follows the lives of two men, Raju and Shankar, who are brothers-in-law. Raju is a poor fisherman and Shankar is a rich businessman. Raju is struggling to make ends meet while Shankar has an easy life. One day, Raju's boat capsizes in a storm and he becomes stranded on an island with his family. To survive, they must find food and shelter. Shankar comes to their rescue and helps them get back home. He also pays off Raju's debt to the moneylender. Raju begins to look up to Shankar, who eventually takes him under his wing and gives him a job. Raju's luck changes when he wins a local wrestling tournament. Shankar then arranges for Raju to compete in a national tournament where he has the chance to win a large sum of money. In the end, Raju is successful and gains wealth and prosperity. He is ultimately reunited with his family and can now provide for them.
