Story

Buckle up for a psychological thriller with a dash of daddy-daughter drama. "A Sacrifice" throws Ben Monroe, a social psychologist with a penchant for khakis, into a world far weirder than his armchair theories. Freshly relocated to Berlin (because apparently good psychology jobs are hard to find in the States), Ben stumbles upon a creepy cult with a connection to some disturbing events.

Meanwhile, his teenage daughter, Mazzy, is having her own coming-of-age crisis. Think sullen silences, ripped fishnets, and a mysterious local boy who seems to know a little too much about the dark side of Berlin. As Ben delves deeper into the cult, their two worlds collide in dramatic fashion (think missing daughter and frantic phone calls).

Now Ben's gotta race against the clock, not just to expose the cult's secrets but to save Mazzy from their clutches. Will Ben's textbook knowledge of human behavior translate to navigating a real-life cult? Will Mazzy learn the dangers of following the wr...

Will Ben's textbook knowledge of human behavior translate to navigating a real-life cult? Will Mazzy learn the dangers of following the wrong crowd (and maybe question her eyeliner choices)? Find out in "A Sacrifice," a film that promises equal parts psychological chills and parent-child bonding (hopefully without any actual sacrifices).
