8 x 10 Tasveer is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language mystery thriller film directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. It stars Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Takia, Sharmila Tagore, Javed Jaffrey, and Anant Mahadevan. The story follows Jai Puri (Kumar), a successful businessman who has been haunted by a recurring nightmare of a girl’s murder for years. When he discovers that the girl in his dream is real, he embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her death. Along the way, he uncovers secrets concerning his family’s past, hidden relationships and business entanglements. He also comes to realize that his own actions may be responsible for the girl's demise. Through Jai’s journey of self-discovery, 8 x 10 Tasveer reveals how one life can be changed forever by choices made in the past.
